A Journey of Growth and Learning in Taiwan.

Pashupati Nepal Sound Healing School, Taiwan Taipei.

This trip back to Taiwan was not just about undergoing surgery; it was also a profound journey of learning and self-discovery. From spiritual cultivation and Buddhist studies to sound therapy and even learning a divination skill rooted in the I Ching, every experience has been deeply enriching.

The spiritual practices and Buddhist studies complemented each other seamlessly, especially since the teachers are well-connected. For this post, I want to focus on my journey with sound therapy.

My sound bowl teacher, Missy Liu, has a uniquely inspiring approach to teaching. She fosters an environment of shared learning while encouraging everyone to develop their individual style. Beyond teaching techniques, Missy places a strong emphasis on hands-on practice and provides opportunities to gain valuable experience through group activities.

Under Missy’s guidance, I’ve learned not only how to plan event flows and use various instruments but also how to lead and inspire a group. Her studio is a haven for creativity, filled with a variety of instruments that invite exploration. Along the way, I’ve also had the privilege of meeting incredible people who have enriched this journey even further.

This chapter of growth has been both transformative and fulfilling, and I am deeply grateful for the connections and lessons it has brought into my life.

Love,

Victoria
